Flocked Stump Smash Skylanders Promo
This Skylanders figure is only available in a Frito Lay's Exclusive Contest with their twenty bag Flavor Mix pack. Within each pack was a Skylander game card that allowed you to possibly win the limited edition Stump Smash by entering the a code online. Only 7,334 of these were up for grabs.
The figure will be flocked, which means it will have a soft velvet type feel. These prizes haven't even shipped yet, so the sellers are selling them as pre-orders.
The first one up went for only $51.00, but the latest ended up selling for $177.50.

Interesting thing – all of these listings are against eBay policy.
eBay policy requires that any pre-sell items be GUARANTEED to be shipped out in 30 days or less.
All of these Stump Smash auctions are saying that they expect to get the figure in “6-8 weeks” – which is a bit more than 30 days.
The reason for this policy (and why I’d avoid buying one of these now) is the limited time frame in which you have to file a complaint if the item doesn’t arrive/isn’t as advertised. You only have 45 days to file a dispute via PayPal once you send payment.
Buyer beware.
Even worse is that if you got online and read the terms of the contest for these Skylanders, even if they tell you that you have a winner and it will ship in 6-8 weeks, you are only winning an ENTRY into the final drawing.
These auctions are assuming they actually won one, but the “no purchase necessary” line was automated, and, as far as I could tell, told you that you won EVERY time you called it. I think we’re going to see a lot of people not get their Skylanders after all…
The line definitely did not make you a winner ever time – I called it virtually every day the contest was going on. Didn’t win for the longest time, but there at the end, I won just about every day. There was certainly a time where it didn’t automatically win though.
How many did you snag?
Unknown.
Assuming that each time it told me I won, I actually did win, I’d say 10+ easily.
Boy, I hope it actually sends me one for each “winner”…I called every single day the contest was going on and “won” every single time.
