Life Size Lynch (of Kane and Lynch Dead Men) Statue

Written by Link on 17th November, 2009

You know, there's enough video game related full size statues that it would be possible to start collecting them. Ridiculously expensive, but possible nonetheless.

This Lynch is actually pretty ugly, and then game received mixed reviews, so it's hard to say if anyone would want this. Neat item anyways.

Vintage Nintendo Cabinet

I've never seen one of these before. I've showed it to a few people that are very familiar with vintage Nintendo and they have never seen one so I thinks it's safe to call it rare. It's marked "1989 Nintendo of America Inc." and measures 19 1/2'" wide, 16" deep and 23" tall with the wheels. It's in near mint condition and has a very crisp, clean appearance. The red bars on the shelves are spaced perfectly to lock your system's legs in place so it won't slip when you put your game in.

My first thought when I saw this was that they had just stuck some Nintendo stickers on a cabinet but the original owners told me they bought it when they bought the game system. After I fit the games and system in place it became obvious that this was manufactured for the Nintendo NES system. The games and system are not including they are just to show you how nicely everything fits. There are tens of thousands of games and systems out there but when will you see another one of these?

Vintage 90s Nintendo Xmas Wrapping Paper - Rare Nintendo Christmas wrapping paper! This was a promotional giveaway back in the 90's. It is still sealed, never been opened, so I don't know the size of the paper. The paper with the systems on it shows Gamecube, Gameboy and Nintendo DS, the character paper shows Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong and others from Mario Kart.

Considering the amount of RPG duplicates in that SFC lot, it actually is very pricey. Remember folks, SFC RPGs are like EA Sports games in North America – they aren’t worth anything!

That SFC lot has a lot of dupes in general, not just RPGs.

Also, I like how the wrapping paper description says it’s from the 90s….right, because the Gamecube and DS were around in the 90s. That being said, I don’t know if that really ruins the credibility of the auction. The paper is still cool and it’s not ridiculously expensive.

I normally see SFC lots go for $2.00 – $3.00 a cartridge. Ive also sold games like FF locally for $25, so there is some nice potential there.

As for the paper, nice catch – can’t believe I missed that.

That Lynch statue was originally being strangled by a Kane statue. :)

How can that wrapping be from the ’90s when the DS was released in the mid 2000s?

That paper is from GameStops circa 2005. Those Nintendo rolling carts never get any less ugly. I don’t know why anyone would want one.

Oh man I had that roller cart for Nintendo. I also remember bashing it down so I can throw it away for the big pickup in town. That Mario was very bad and mine didn’t have him on it. Maybe it was done in taste by my mom or my 6 year old self. $200 would of been nice though.

Five Below has been selling the NSYNC GBC games for for quite some time, looks like someone bought some up and are trying to make a small profit.
