So what’s the deal with Air Raid again? Was it ever determined to have been sold in the US?
“I HAVE SINCE SOLD MY ATARI GAME SYSTEM, SO I CANNOT PROVIDE ANY SCREENSHOTS”
lets see, your selling a game whos starting bid is $2000..hows about going out and getting a $45 atari and getting screenshots….
Port,
From a few people i’ve read posts on Air Raid,They say that its supposed to be a hack and most likely never sold in the country.
My understanding of the issue is that the game is actually PAL-M, and not NTSC… that would make it a South American release where a few copies somehow managed to make it into the US.
The funny thing is, as near as I can tell, no one even knows the correct name of this game. There’s no name on the label, no title screen, and no box or manual is even known to exist. I’m not sure where it got the name Air Raid to begin with.
A long time ago, someone analyzed the code for the game and found out that it shared a lot of it’s code with Space Jockey, which is what started all the hack rumours. No one really knows what to make of all this, and the gameplay is different enough that calling it a hack is downplaying things a lot in my opinion.
How many Lethal Enforcer Samples are there in exsistance?! Although that one’s Mega Drive, mine is NTSC Genesis.
Air Raid was made in Canada!
The Air Raid name is in the programing,if you hold down on the reset switch just for a second it flashes the name on the screen.
The Air Raid box was a flip box, when the custermer opened it,Thats all say.
