Complete Famicom Set

Straight from Japan and the Akihabara area, comes a complete set of Famicom Cartridges. The gaming store Mandarake has a set available for a mere ¥650,000 (US$7,300).

The set includes all the retail Famicom games sold from 1983 to 1994 and not the crazy rare / expensive contest and whatnot carts.

Check out the blog post here (in Japanese).

  1. You have no idea how tempted I am to use my tax return to buy that. Who needs a new roof anyway?

  2. Roof’s are for pussies! Do it!

  3. I agree. Famicom carts > roof. I wish I could afford that :(

  4. Port you’ve got all the NES, you don’t need those same games in Japanese + another 200 Mahjong games.

    Just sayin

  5. I DO, DAMNIT, I DO

  6. DO IT!!!

  7. Don’t do it! Think of the roof… and the leakage on all the games. Then where would the collection go?

  8. … do it

  9. Build the roof out of all the mahjong carts :D
