What’s wrong with NintendoAge I think it’s a great site if you collect old Nintendo games?

I also thought nintendoage.com was a great site.
But then i woke up.
The site is responsible for the high $$$ prices of nes games these days.
They destroyed almost all the other great nes sites (its a disgrace what ngd and dain did too nesworld.com)
Its always the same people how want to be in the spotlight there(suck suck)
They almost destroyed this stadium events auction and this is the biggest joke: they complained that gamesnipped had a myriad from ebay on the site!?
There are bullshit limited edition homebrews etc. etc. the shit goes on and on..
want to now more glenn?
i agree with jake nintendoage= assholes

The site itself is great. Dain did a awesome job with developing a AtariAge styled site that is a great resource.
I’ve expressed my dissatisfaction with the community there enough so I’ll leave it at that.
What did they do NESWorld.com though? The mass exodus to NA.com is just how things go sometimes.
That Stadium Events auction is hilarious. I wonder if the person who clicked the BIN on it for $1k asked for pictures of the actual item or just refused to pay outright without trying to work with the guy. I think a response like this is very fitting and maybe everyone on NA who automatically starts bashing sellers and sending them rude e-mails when their auctions aren’t 100% clear cut will learn their lesson. There is no reason for it whatsoever.
I’m glad you gave me this perspective on the site. I still have had nothing but positive experiences so far. But then again I’m new to collecting NES games (life long player though) and new to the site as well. I feel bad they had a negative impact on another site but link I said I’m new to the NES collecting community so I don’t have any perspective on this. I think they probably could only have brought more collectors in like me and therefor raised prices theoretically. At the same time though I think this was inevitable since gaming is so huge and people are getting old enough to be nostalgic. I think an even bigger culprit for rising prices will be VGA if anybody though.
agree on

I agree about nintendoage, was on there for a while but the assholes just made me sick so I never went back.
NintendoAGE is a very informative site. There are a lot of great members, many of whom are key contributors to new information that is still coming out for the NES (Which is amazing since the system is how old now?). There is an abundance of knowledgable, friendly members who go out of their way to answer questions and make people new to collecting feel welcome at the site. But obviously, as with any forum that starts to gain a lot of members, the bad begins to weed itself in with the good. If you don’t partake just because of a few jerks and pointless posts, you’re really missing out on a great resource. It’s the internet…you’re bound to run into people that have nothing better to do than to make pointless comments and try to ruin the goodnatured atmosphere, but as a whole (in my opinion) there’s nothing in the present that beats NA.
One of the pics of the top-loader NES being auctioned. Underneath are the manufacturing stickers. Why is the top-loader NES dated 1985 ??
I own a top-loader Famicom AV and its stickers are dated 1993 the year the top-loader NES / Famicom was manufactered.
Judging by the auction, NintendoAge.com strikes again.
I *think* that Rayman watch was the bundled watch with special copies of Rayman 2: The Great Escape for the PlayStation.
nintendoage.com is where all the assholes of the NES collecting world gathers.
Those pins look pretty nice, if only he shipped to Canada
That nintendo system isnt a proto is it? I thought they made those during a nes 2 revision?
