This is incredibly cool, I cant help but wonder why they had these games in a warehouse still?
Is that a Canadian version of Final Fight Guy or something? I’ve got a US version in an all-orange box. I think it was a Blockbuster rental version. Was there a retail version as well, perhaps Canada only?
I’m not 100% percent sure, but I think that’s the case. There a bit of discussion over this at the thread the article links to.
Thanks, I just signed up and had a look. It sounds like it is a Canadian-only version. I’m sort-of surprised people are that excited to buy it as generally the SNES version of Final Fight 1 isn’t very highly regarded (although I always loved it) but I guess being mega-rare means it will sell for a high price no matter what!
That said I can’t criticise, I did just buy a mint Final Fight Tough recently for quite a large amount…
Ebay has been removing these lots because they violate their policy on charity auctions. The first 3 have already been removed and it looks like the rest will be taken down by the end of the day. It’s a shame really.
I have spoken with the person who is running the auctions and have been assured that the removed auctions will be relisted in accordance with ebay’s policies, so don’t be surprised if you see these items get relisted.
Wow. The first batch has ended and I am in awe. Nintendo managed to raise a large sum!
