It may happen that you think you’re the only one to own something. This is the second Genesis proto right/left handed controller I see. I own the other. At least the piece that connects the two part is grey here, while mine is white!
How does it work? Symple, you can hold in one hand the directional cross and in the other the three action buttons.
Behind one of these two main parts there’s an additional button, unmarked, all black.
This controller is indeed very similar to the Nunchuck of our beloved Wii.
You can connect the two parts with the plastic (much more like resin made)Â item you can see on the top of the picture. Everything works fine, at least with my unit.
Last time I stayed at a Sheraton (this past November), there was a GameCube unit in there; I think I’ve seen one at another hotel in the past as well. Didn’t know they were that uncommon.
Will we ever see something similar in Europe? The maximum entertaining stuff I’ve found inside the last hotel I’ve been here around was a mirror that lets you see blackheads clearly…

The last hotel I went to had a knackered Outrun stand-up machine in the “games” room. The screen looked all funny and the car was orange!
I must say, those separate handled Megadrive pads look very nice, but not $500 nice.
