the red xbox looks legit. the tray lid/cover also has the same color. also, the seller should have taken a picture of the label underneath the system. it should determine if it was official.

There is something strange about the signed MGS2, that he is saing, that he get it from Japanese friend when the game was released and the game is USA not a Jap version, don’t you think ?

I asked the seller of that red xbox for more pictures. Looks fake to me.

He’s still hiding the part on the date sticker that has the screw hole. I specifically asked for a pic of that. Plus the word “Xbox” on the front looks painted on.

Not to mention a prototype case doesn’t usually have the same stickers or a jewel on it to begin with.

Here’s an example of a prototype:

The Xbox is real.. It’s a real Crystal Xbox. Funny thing is, it is not molded in red. It looks like it was sprayed from the inside with some sort of industrial red product to look like a molded red box. SO I would say the BOX IS A OFFICIAL CRYSTAL BOX. But I would not say it is a RED CRYSTAL XBOX. The language says - REAL CRYSTAL XBOX - in red. Yea - its a real xbox - real crystal. not really red.. Just IN RED (due to spray or some kind of clear paint)
