He managed to solve the following riddle after some hints were dropped in the comments:

Hi there, Im a tough guy. In my younger days, I once took a bullet and Ive also been on fire.
This time around, Im one number away from being evil.
In my spare time, I enjoy breaking codes. Also, Im not a cheap date.

I took a bit of flack for this one, but I still think it was a good contest and stand by my wording. Seriously, an argument about the GB being the GBC`s older brother - not younger days....... come on people.

This was actually a hint for a Game Boy Color auction that he successfully managed to find and submit.

Nintendo Power in it`s day featured both a shot GB as well as one which had been totally melted due to mortar fire. The latter still works and is on display at Nintendo World NYC.

Also, Im not a cheap date.
The fixed price BIN is $450 - pretty much to be the most expensive (and first if sorted properly) for any of the searches you could have performed.

I`m not claiming this was easy, but with any two of those clues figured out it should have been solvable.

Also, the bonus prize of the GBA Flash Cart goes to Mr. Kelly R. Flewin (quite a user name there).

Thanks for explaining the clues to us! Makes sense now, lol. No need to make the contest easy, it wouldn’t be any fun that way!
