The seller is atarimuseum, very well, well known.
The item looks incredible.
Gold plated anniversay Atari 2600 console
"This one is an oddity, I have another one also in silver. Best guess is these may have signified milestones for Atari, perhaps the Gold version to celebrate the 10 millionth Atari 2600 made.
This came out of Atari from a former employee along with one other one."
